Terms of service

Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Ciclo, operated by Ciclo (“we”, “us”). By starting a subscription you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a firm, you are confirming you may bind that firm.

What Ciclo does

We ask AI assistants a list of questions about your service and your area, record which businesses those assistants name, list the pages the answers were built from, and hand you a written fix list. We deliver this as a document, on the cadence your plan sets.

What Ciclo does not do

We do not control what any AI assistant says. Their outputs change without notice, vary between users, and are outside our influence. We measure and report what we observe; we do not promise that you will be recommended, that your share will rise, or that any particular result follows from any fix.

We are not your lawyers and nothing we send is legal advice. Where we draft profile text, corrections or outreach, we draft with your state’s bar advertising rules in mind, but we are not certifying compliance and we are not anyone’s ethics counsel. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything published in your name.

Your subscription

  • Plans are monthly, with no minimum term. Prices are listed on the pricing section of the site and charged in US dollars.
  • Every plan begins with 14 days before the first charge. Your payment method is collected when you sign up and charged at the end of that period unless you cancel first.
  • After the first charge, the subscription renews each month on the same date until you cancel.
  • We give at least 30 days’ notice in writing before any price change, and you may cancel instead of accepting it.
  • Cancel any time from the billing page. Your plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, and is not renewed.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Failed payments are retried by Stripe; if payment cannot be collected we may suspend delivery until it is resolved.

What you give us

You give us the details we need to measure you: firm name, service types, cities, and contact information. You confirm those details are accurate and that you may share them. If you ask us to file corrections or submit profiles on your behalf, you are authorising us to act in your name for that purpose, and you approve each submission before it goes out.

What we deliver, and who owns it

The teardown and the fix list are yours to keep and use, whether or not you continue with us. We keep ownership of Ciclo itself — our methods, software and the underlying measurement data across clients. We may describe results in anonymous, aggregated form; we will not name your firm in marketing without asking you first.

Availability

Ciclo is early. We are starting with personal-injury law and adding other practice areas as we can measure them properly. If we cannot measure your area yet, we will say so rather than take your money. Delivery timing is best effort, and we will tell you when something slips.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Ciclo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost business, lost clients, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

You may cancel at any time. We may end a subscription with notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused period, or immediately if these terms are breached in a way that is not put right after we ask.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you disagree.
